What the inspection actually checks
An inspection is not a glance from the driveway. It is a walk of the slopes where footing allows, a look into the valleys and around every penetration, a check of the gutters and, where there is a hatch, a look at the underside of the deck from the attic. It takes as long as the roof takes, and it produces a document rather than a verbal verdict.
