GAF Master Elite certified roofer
Washington Township Roofing That Checks the Deck First
Replacements, repairs, siding and gutters, quoted only after the boards under your shingles have been looked at. Nothing on the estimate is guesswork, and the inspection that produces it costs nothing.
What a visit from us actually produces
A free inspection
Someone goes up, walks the slopes and comes back with findings rather than a sales pitch.
A written line-item estimate
Tear-off, deck repair, underlayment, flashing and disposal each priced on their own line.
No obligation attached
The estimate is yours to keep, compare or sit on. There is no deposit to see it.
Roofing, siding and gutters for Washington Township homes
Seven lines of work, all run by the same crew. If a repair will genuinely see you through a few more winters, that is what the estimate will say.
Roof Replacement
A full tear-off, a deck you have actually seen the condition of, and a written figure that already allows for what is underneath.
Roof Repair
Targeted work on a roof that still has life in it, quoted against how many years the rest of the covering has left.
Roof Leak Repair
Following the water back uphill to the point it breaches the roof, which is almost never directly over the mark on your ceiling.
Storm & Hail Damage Roof Repair
A documented assessment after wind or hail, with photographs and a written scope you can hand straight to an adjuster.
Roof Inspections
A free, written inspection of every slope, valley and flashing detail, with the findings handed over whether or not you hire us.
Siding
Siding inspection, repair and replacement handled by the same crew that works the roof above it.
Gutters & Downspouts
Gutters, hangers and downspouts sized and pitched for the roof above them, so water ends up away from the foundation.
Why homeowners here hand us the job
None of this is unusual. It is simply the part most roofs never get before someone names a price.
The deck is checked before a price exists
Soft or delaminated plywood is the single most common surprise on a tear-off. We find it first so it is a line on your estimate instead of a phone call halfway through the job.
Flashing is named, not bundled
Chimney, valley, sidewall and pipe-boot flashing each appear separately. Nothing disappears into a line called miscellaneous.
Tear-off depth is agreed in writing
How many layers come off, and what happens if a second layer turns up underneath, is settled before the crew arrives rather than negotiated on the driveway.
One lead stays on your roof
The same person runs the job from the first bundle to the final magnet sweep, so you are never explaining your house to somebody new.
Repairs are measured against what the roof has left
Where the boards are firm and the covering still has granules on it, patching a slope is the cheaper and more sensible route, and that is what we will put on paper even though a tear-off would bill higher.
Four steps, start to finish
The order never changes, whether it is three slipped shingles or a full tear-off.
You call and describe it
A brown ring overhead, granules collecting where the downspout empties, or the sight of the neighbours having theirs done. Any of those is reason enough for us to come out and take a look.
We inspect and photograph
Slopes, valleys, flashing, penetrations and the attic side where we can reach it. You get the findings whether or not you ever hire us.
You get the estimate in writing
Line by line, with the tear-off depth and any deck work spelled out, so you can set it beside anybody else's number and compare like for like.
The crew works to that estimate
Materials staged, slopes stripped and dried in the same day where weather allows, then a full ground sweep before anyone leaves.

Book the inspection before the next storm, not after it
A free visit now is cheaper than a tarp in February. We will tell you what the roof has left and put a figure beside it.
Questions we get asked most
What happens if you find rotten decking once the shingles are off?
It is quoted up front as a per-sheet rate, so you already know the number before the crew ever opens the roof. We photograph every sheet we replace and the count goes on the final invoice. Nothing gets added without you seeing why.
Do I need a permit to replace a roof here?
Residential re-roofs in Washington Township are generally permitted through the township construction office, and we handle that filing as part of the job. The permit cost appears on your estimate rather than turning up later.
How long does a tear-off and replacement actually take?
Most single-family roofs here are stripped, dried in and finished inside one to two working days. Steeper pitches, multiple layers or a lot of deck repair add time, and if that applies to your roof it is flagged on the estimate rather than discovered on day two.
Can you just shingle over what is already up there?
Sometimes it is permitted, but we rarely recommend it. A layover hides the decking, traps heat against the old course and makes the next roof more expensive to remove. If you want it priced anyway, we will price it and explain the trade.
What does the free inspection include?
A walk of every slope where it is safe to do so, a look at valleys, flashing and pipe boots, the gutters and the attic side where there is access. You get the findings in writing with photographs attached, and no part of it is conditional on hiring us.
Is there a warranty on a new roof?
Yes. A new shingle roof is covered by a manufacturer-backed warranty on the materials, and the terms are written on your estimate before you agree to anything, not read out over the phone.
Should I wait until spring to replace a roof?
Not necessarily. Shingles seal more slowly in cold weather, which we allow for in how the roof is fastened, but winter work is routine here. What is worth avoiding is carrying a known leak through a freeze, because ice widens whatever gap is already there.
A roofing crew, not a call centre
We are a small outfit working Washington Township and the towns around it. The person who inspects your roof is the person who writes your estimate, and you will see them again on the job. That is the whole reason the deck gets looked at properly: nobody is passing the problem along to somebody else.
Find out what your roof has left
One visit, one written figure, nothing owed either way.
