How we ended up working this way

Most of the arguments homeowners have with roofers start in the same place: a price that was quoted from the driveway. The shingles looked tired, somebody guessed at a square count, and the real condition of the deck underneath only showed up once the tear-off was halfway done. By then the conversation is about an invoice rather than a roof.

So we inverted it. Nothing gets priced until somebody has been up there, walked the slopes, looked at the valleys and the flashing, and formed a view on what the boards are actually doing. That inspection is free and it stays free whether you hire us or not. What it buys you is an estimate with the awkward parts already written into it.

The certification behind the shingles we fit

We hold GAF Master Elite certification, a standing the manufacturer grants to a small fraction of roofing contractors nationally. In practice it matters for two reasons: the installation details are audited against the manufacturer's own spec, and it is what allows the longer manufacturer-backed coverage to sit behind a roof we have installed. We mention it here rather than on every page because a certification is only worth anything once somebody has actually looked at your roof.

What we hold ourselves to

  • Say what the roof has left

If it has five years in it, that is the answer, even when a replacement would be the bigger invoice.

  • Write the number down

Nothing important gets agreed verbally. The estimate is the record and the job runs to it.

  • Leave the ground clean

A magnet sweep of the drive, the beds and the lawn edge before the last van pulls away.

  • Answer afterwards

The phone still gets picked up once the scaffolding is down and the invoice is settled.
